Through VITA, IRS-certified volunteers prepare and file federal and state returns electronically at no cost to income-eligible clients. 

Help will be available in the Public Computer Center at Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, Feb. 3 through March 23.

There are six other seasonal and two permanent free tax preparation sites in the area.
